Anglia Steel had a small job erecting and building the main office buildings in the Legacy Landing 6000 apartment complex. It was comprised of several columns and beams and was quickly erected in three days.
Anglia Steel has completed the steel work for four small buildings, two locker rooms and two bathrooms, at the Shouldice Athletic Park. The job included but wasn’t limited to, welding on joist seats, landing and installing joists, fabricating and installing benches and hangers, and door supports.
All of the main structural steel has been erected at the East Wheatland K-12 School, located a few kilometres south of Standard, Alta. and is approximately 90km East of Calgary. The school will be the main school used for students in kindergarten to grades 12, coming from four surrounding communities.
Located east of Okotoks, in Dewinton, Alta. is the Heritage Heights K-9 Catholic School. A new medical building titled “Front Street Medical” is built in Seton just south-west of the South Health Campus in Calgary. This building is comprised completely of structural steel – columns and beams – instead of having joists and trusses separating floors.
Two new buildings have been added onto the Evanston Town-centre in North West Calgary. They are located next to a Sobeys that Anglia Steel erected a few years ago.
The Avatmsaka Monastery, a religious centre in downtown Calgary, has contracted Anglia Steel to build a pedestal and enclosure comprised of a new viewing floor and a traditional Chinese style roof, for three statues that have been moved onto the roof.
One completed project of Anglia Steel’s is St. Patrick’s Island at the Calgary Zoo. All of the steel work is completed for this sitting and rest area and it is hoped to be open for the public to utilize and enjoy this fall.

Cam Clark Ford Olds has opened a new shop in Olds which includes a bigger building for them to keep their inventory inside. Anglia Steel fabricated and erected this building which is now showcasing a new selection of inventory and has an all new service department.
The Flair Packaging Expansion project was a small job that added on another storage area and three more bay doors for trucks to drop off products.
